Sweet tea!

Refreshing green sweet tea that is! There are many benefits of drinking green tea that include both preventative and healing processes for diseases such as cancer, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, infections, impaired immune functions, cardiovascular disease, and high cholesterol. Green tea cleanses the body of toxins that can cause many health problems. With that said, here is my personal recipe for sweet green iced tea! I always keep a pitcher in my fridge!


Sweet Green Iced Tea


-Bring medium pot of water to boil.

-Take pot off heat and place 6 or 7 green tea bags in pot and let steep for 30-45 mins.

-Take tea bags out of pot and squeeze excess liquid from the bags in to the pot.

-Stir in 4-5 tablespoons of honey.

-Mix tea with cold water in large pitcher and refrigerate.

*Squeeze some lemon in to pitcher if you want an extra added zing!
